Tag Pengenalan Untuk Ejen/Perunding Hartanah Berdaftar

Sumber: Sinar Harian Dari kiri: Presiden Institut Ejen Hartanah Malaysia Siva Shanker, Abdul Hamid dan Lim menunjukkan tag pengenalan diri yang wajib dipakai ejen hartanah berdaftar bermula 1 Mei ini. PENGGUNA yang terlibat dalam urusan jual beli atau sewa semua jenis hartanah digesa hanya berurusan dengan ejen hartanah berdaftar yang boleh dikenal pasti melalui tag pengenalan diri dikeluarkan Lembaga Penilai, Pentaksir dan Ejen Harta Tanah Malaysia (BOVAEA) bermula 1 Mei 2014. Presiden BOVAEA Datuk Abdul Hamid Abu Bakar berkata, satu proses pendaftaran ejen hartanah yang selesai pada 28 Februari lalu dibuat bagi mengurangkan jumlah ejen hartanah haram. “Isu ejen tidak sah ini amat serius. Kami tidak ada jumlah tepat tetapi kami menerima banyak aduan dan apabila disiasat, didapati mereka tidak berdaftar,” katanya dalam sidang media semasa mengumumkan penggunaan tag pengenalan diri itu di Putrajaya, semalam.
